Welcome to Room 27!

Dear Fourth Grader,

Welcome to Fourth Grade! I am so overjoyed that you are here! We are going to have a wonderful year together. My name is Ms. Telford and I am very excited that I get to be your teacher this year. I would love to tell you a little bit about myself.

I have two sisters and one brother. We are all very close and are always spending time with one another. I was born and raised in Antioch. I lived there until I moved away for college. When we were growing up, my family loved to go out on our boat. We loved to go water skiing and wake boarding out on the Delta. Have you ever been on the Delta?  We still love to go out on the boat to this day!

My family consists of me, my daughter Charlie, and my Fiancé, David. Charlie is almost 19 months old! We moved to Oakley in 2016. Even though we moved in a while ago, we are still having a lot of fun doing projects to make our house a home. Our task right now is working on our backyard! We love to watch movies, go to the beach, and play board games. Monopoly is my favorite.

I also love to read! My favorite book is The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. I am so excited to hear all about your favorite book! This year I will be sharing many wonderful books with you, and I hope that you discover lots of great books for you to share with me too! Jeremy Thatcher Dragon Hatcher is one that I will be sharing with you!

If you ever have any questions, or need to talk to me about something, please know you can always come and talk to me. I have been anxiously waiting to meet you, and I can’t wait to learn more about you. We will be spending the first few weeks of school getting to know one another. It is going to be lots of fun!

Welcome to Fourth Grade!
